Day 30: Nikkole and Drew!!!!

Day 30: A picture of someone you miss

There were two people I had to talk about , but both were a no-brainer for me.

First, my hiking buddy, exercising buddy, talk-to-about-anything buddy, going to get our hair done together buddy, and more. I miss my friend Nikkole so much, I don't think she realizes how much I miss her. She and I literally did so many things together that I feel like I don't know who to turn to when I want to go do something spontaneous now. She's currently in California being a nanny for who knows how long, and I'm really glad she's loving it. But I truly do miss her. She and I have been friends since 4th grade, it's a pretty long time!!! I hope she comes back to Utah sometime soon, that would make me very happy! If not, that's ok, I just want her to know that I miss her!! She's a wonderful friend to have and she's been there for lots of things for me! I miss you Nikkole!!

Next, my wonderful friend Drew! Elder Bradley is currently serving a LDS mission in Tuscon, AZ ASL speaking. He's going to be out for a year in November! Time sure flies by so fast! But this kid is one of my best friends ever! He was always there to go to the temple with or to get ice cream, or to just kick back and do nothing! I know he's doing a great job out there, but that doesn't mean I can't miss him ha. He's a great guy and I'm so glad to have him as a friend! I know he won't read this, but y'all will!

I'm done with this 30 day picture challenge! Took me a lot longer than 30 days, but hey! It's done! Woo!!!

Day 17: Freshpeople~

Day 17: A picture of something that has made a huge impact on your life recently
left-->right: Katie, Sara, me, Jasmin, MJ, Melanie

left-->right:Ben, Adam, Markham, Eric, Aaron

This was actually pretty hard for me to pick, because I felt like I had nothing recently impact me that big. I kept thinking and thinking and then I started wondering how far back does "recent" really go to? Is it a week? A month? A year? I thought I had that leeway in picking something "recent" and then I decided that I could use my roommates and the wonderful boys of Rogers 97!!!
First off, my roommates. It was a great year living with all of them! And I actually just watched The Roommate last night...let me just say that I'm glad we didn't have a community bathroom and that none of my roommates had schizophrenia or were bipolar; especially Sara (who roomed with me). Anyhow, I would say they impacted me in a huge way....I mean, I did live with them and all. Sara was awesome and chill enough to be able to live with me for 8 months and get used to me staying up super late and eating chips and crackers in the wee hours of the night. I'm so glad to have had someone who went to bed earlier than me to motivate me to go to bed earlier than what I probably would've ended up doing haha. Jasmin was amazing at singing and had such a sweet spirit - she and her optimism! Definitely always had a good time when I was just around her. Katie, who I still haven't seen this summer, which makes me sad, was just the best out of us all. She had the best sarcastic comebacks and she's just so tiny!!! I really wish I had her gorgeous metabolism. I can't to live with her next year again. Melanie was the youngest, so we gave her a lot of crap. But that's ok, because she was chill enough to take it all. So glad she did. And then MJ is just MJ - always brave enough to give her own opinion...especially with the boy with the crazy girlfriend, non-girlfriend, who knows what they were. So glad she was always so rebellious with me, it gave life a perk haha!!!

Ok, so the boys of Rogers 97 were the best!!! They became our way good friends and we just felt so comfortable around them! All thanks to me and Markham, hurray! So Markham over here is my best friend since the end of last August. I met him on the basketball court and befriended him. And it all went uphill from there. He's so awesome, but way too popular for me. He's nice though and was always up to hanging out with us!...that is...if he already wasn't hanging out with other people haha. And then Eric, E-man, was black! That just automatically makes me so cool. And he dances so well, it makes me jealous. He's awesome too and super nice! And he was the one out of all those boys to come say hello to us no matter what!! Aaron is super smart, which I'm jealous about. And he's so opinionated and can go off on his opinions forever (and I honestly mean that in a good way). He was so much fun to hang out with too. Benji was super nice as well!! Always had the best jokes to tell. I loved hanging out with him too. Whenever we were going crazy and all, he just knew how to keep it under control. Oh, and he had the best job ever - being a security guard at the library, whaaat?! Preston I honestly wish I could say we hung out a lot, but we unfortunately didn't. He was pretty cool though, he was in band haha. And then there's Adam! So cool of a guy and he was super smart too. He was so nice to us and so funny as well!! He was great to hang out with as well. I'm so glad to have met all those boys at BYU

Pretty much what I'm saying is, these are the people I spent most of my time with the last 8 months of my life. I miss them all. They all made a huge impact on me and I'm glad to have met them. Bowen 17 and Rogers 97 For.ev.er.

Day 14: Can't live without her

Day 14: A picture of someone you could never imagine your life without

It's sad we only have 14 pictures of us together on FB...
This be my sister Ginnie!! Seeing as she's my only sibling, life would definitely not be the same without her and I could definitely not imagine life as an only child (although I've been kind of living life that way the past 3-ish years of my life). Anyway, she is awesome pretty much. She and I used to fight ALL. THE. TIME. way back in the days when we were younger, but now that we're older and don't have a lot of time to spend together (especially now that's she's married), I've realized what a great a sister she is and how we get along now haha! She has helped me with so much in my life, especially with school, that I don't know how life would be managed without for sure. She and I also have different characteristics and such that we have great differences....it's like our parents genes split between us two children haha (you get what I mean). Anyway, she's a great role model to me, I'm definitely glad she's the older sister because I like my life as it is...I get the easy way with everything thanks to her. :) So pretty much what I'm saying is that because she's been there the past (almost) 19 years of my life (and the rest of it), that life without her is unimaginable.

Thanks Ginnie for everything you've done for me. I know I don't ever tell you that, but here's it now!! You're the best sister and I'm going to be sad when you and Nelson really do leave me for the East coast!!! But I really can't wait for nieces and nephews. Can't wait to spoil them in cute little clothes. I love you!!! <3

I'll get through this 30 day picture challenge eventually!!

Day 10: It's enough to make you go crazy!

Day 10: A picture of the person you do the most messed up things with
I love my Shella!!
Ok so, I know I've been slacking on my 30 Day Picture Challenge, but finals and moving  back home made things hectic! And saying goodbye to people!!

Anyway, so I don't do messed up things. There's a reason why they're called that. But I do a lot of things with Shel and I figured that was close enough. (This is a really old picture by the way; from a dance party like a year and a half ago) I love doing stuff with her! It's always a fun time and I guess we do crazy things? not really though. We've done a ton of stuff together and yet we still always find something new and exciting to do. She's one of my longest friends and I'm so glad we have been friends for this long! But really, we have done a ton of stuff together...feels like it at least ha!

Crazy past couple of weeks! But that's all in the life of me! Much love everyone.

Day 8: Say whaaaat??

Day 8: A picture that makes you laugh

I'm sad I couldn't get this picture before Katie took her part down. But this is our quote wall from this and the past semester. Need I say more? And this is perfect timing because we are all moving out this week. :( But! it's been quite an eventful first year of college; first year away from home. We 6 girls have had an enjoyable time getting to know each other and learning how to live on our own, but to have fun as well! It's been a wonderful time, and this quote wall reminds us of all the fun times we've had. The times we've laughed are the best, and so looking at this quote wall makes me think of all the inside jokes we've had and more. It's been a great year, and I'm going to miss living so close to campus and being able to roll out of bed and head to class and still be on time. :(

It's been a great year. This picture makes me laugh so much though. This has been the life of me for the past year!!!

P.S. I had to get creative so I photoshopped the three pictures together and then just started adding random things, like highlighting our names and showing where Katie's spot is.<3

Day 2: She's the one!!

Day 2: A picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest

I'm glad we're college students and we still enjoy our time at Toads :)

Oh man oh man...I've known this girl for about 84.2% of my life...Yes I did just calculate that. Sara McCaskey has been my longest friend ever; and she was also my first. She and I have seen each other grow up since we were 3 and we've gone to school with each other from way back then too. She's now at Westminster and I'm here at BYU and I miss seeing her all the time oh so much!! She's a great influence on me too when it comes to school or work or anything of that sort. We've had some great times and I don't know what life would be like now if we never became friends...very different that's for sure. We've gone through many ups and downs in our friendship, but that's life right? Nothing is ever perfect in life. But yes, I could go on about Sara and tell you all about our crazy memories and awesome childhood lives but I'll end here. :)

Anyway, this is my shoutout to you my dear friend that I want you to always remember that I'm here for you no matter what and that I miss you soooo much! I can't wait to see you over the summer and to play pool Yahtzee ha! I love you much Sara!!!

And Day 2 of the life of me in this picture challenge can be checked off the list....

How do I say it all?

It's really amazing how so much can change in so little time and what you can get from it. It's been a pretty interesting semester and life is constantly full of twists and turns. Where to start?

Well first, I dyed my hair! I like it lots, but it is super red right now. But it'll fade (hopefully) and I'll eventually go back to my natural hair color and that'll be the end. And I will have long hair!! I can't wait to have it back. Then I can whip it back and forth ha.
*I think those nerdy glasses suit me. Honestly I like wearing them. But the lighting makes my hair look darker than what it is.*

Next off, finals are coming up and then I'll be moving back home to good ol' O-town. That'll be exciting. I'm excited to see my friends again and to hang out with them. Too bad that all the guys will be gone for their missions. But some are slowly coming back! Two years has passed by sooo fast! And so much changes within those two years eh? Crazy crazy....But it's really a small world when it comes to the church-world. For example, my friend Elder Carter just got to Torreon, Mexico. So before he left I told him to find my friend Elder Alexander there; I also told Elder Alexander the same thing (vice-versa) and so I was hoping they'd meet sometime. Well...right when Elder Carter got there, they had this giant transfer meeting get-together thing and guess who he sees?! Elder Alexander! And they both told me about it and it was pretty exciting!! I think there was like...80-something missionaries in that area, too! *Elder Alexander is on the left, Elder Carter on the right!*

Also, my friend TJ left for Texas again!! I will miss that kid, it was fun hanging out with him. I met him through Michael and Ammon, and we all just had a fun time all together! He was taking online classes though, and since he could finish them up online, he agreed with his mom to go back home and finish there, as well as get a job. So he left a few days ago! Michael and Ammon will see him again over the summer; as for me, not quite so!! It was a fun time!

Oh speaking of TJ, he took me to go see the movie Insidious the day it came out. Oh. my. gosh. The movie was made very well, I think, but the storyline and everything of it is just way too freaky for me. I mean, it's not like it gave me nightmares or anything, but it's still a freaking scary movie and I don't know why I gave in and decided to go see it. Maybe it's because I didn't have to pay and I hadn't been to the theater in such a long time. Whatever it was, it was a bittersweet movie. Definitely waaay more on the bitter side haha!

Hare Krishna!!! WOW!! Festival of Colors was amazing! And so much fun! So many people there too. And I saw Allison Boyer and everyone else she was with there; who would've thought something like that would happen? It was a very interesting experience, especially hearing the things the religion believes in. And the burning of the witch was interesting too. A handful of people came as they were high or drunk. Dumb. Can't they have fun just once being normal? Let's not ruin the fun for everyone....anyway, it was awesome, we taped my car up with a bunch of plastic bags so we wouldn't get my car colorful afterwards. It was a lot of fun and worth the time preparing my car and everything! We also made shirts that we thought were going to throw away after, but we actually ended up keeping them haha!

Well I think that about sums everything up! Man that took a while. But typing all this out and just thinking about what's happened this past semester it's been a good one! I will miss the people that I've met here, especially all those leaving on missions. Life has ups and downs and brings on unexpected things, but take them all in! Don't waste time being down on something. Lift yourself back up by thinking of all the great things in life! I guarantee you that you can think of at least three things that make life happy each day. Life's too short to be sad about it! As for me, I'm done. Over and out. This is the life of me!!!
