Who would've thought thinking of 22 things to be grateful for would be a hard thing? I tried to do that this morning for Facebook and came to a dud at about 19. Am I that ungrateful? Or was I tired and couldn't really think?
I don't know what the reason for it is, but now I have another chance to redeem myself on what I'm grateful for! So for the previous 22 days of November, I will say 22 things I'm grateful for:
1. I'm grateful for being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am proud to be a Mormon and to have this gospel in my life. My Heavenly Father loves me and by choosing the right and following Christ's example, I can return to Him and gain eternal life.
2. My family is the best there could be. We are small in numbers, but we are strong in love! They've been there for me through the thick and thin of life events.
3. My friends are the next biggest support that I could have. They're such great examples to me and can handle my quirkiness. Always putting a smile on my face and giving me a fun time, I'm so glad I spend time with the people I know.
4. Though they are my friends, my roommates deserve their own little section of gratitude because they have to live with me! They see the tired cranky part of me and the hyped up crazy side as well. I'm so glad to have three people who can tolerate living with me.
5. So many people are unable to gain a college degree, and yet I'm privileged to attend one of the most prestigious universities! I'm thankful for BYU and the chance to get a degree here and expand my knowledge of a variety of things.
6. In regards to BYU, I now have an income and a job on campus that works so well with my school schedule. They're willing to accommodate for everything and my manager is the best! After months, years, of job hunting I was able to get one of the best jobs for me.
7. I may not be in the best shape, but I'm grateful to have a working body that is healthy and keeps me alive. I have all five senses functioning; I can walk, I can breathe. Everyday is a blessing to be alive and well.
8. My life would be nothing and nowhere without the amazing power of music. I love it, it's one of my few real passions that I could not live without. No matter what I'm doing, it's always there to set the tone.
9. Listening to music is always good, but playing it is just as grand. I'm grateful for my piano and violin, to be able to just play away no matter what mood I'm in.
10. We seriously need more of this right now, but I'm thankful for snow and the joy it brings to my life! Without it, there would be no white Christmas, no ski/snowboard season (although we're close to that right now, please pray for it!), and no water!
11. I don't know why I didn't post this one before most of these, but I'm so so grateful for the men and women who have served, are serving, or are preparing to serve in our country's military forces. I know I could never do it, courage or strength-wise. They are my heroes and I wish them all to be safe and sound.
12. Because of our troops and their hard dedication all these years, I have the freedom and ability to choose what I want in this country. America holds so much freedom that most countries don't have, and I'm thankful to be a part of it.
13. I'm thankful for technology. It's advanced our world so much and it's such a tool when used in moderation. It's because of it that I can post this and have the rest of the world see it. I can facetime with my sister though she lives on the other end of the country. It's an ability to communicate and connect with people and share new thoughts and ideas.
14. Books are one of the best things ever. Novels, stories that can take you away and intrigue the mind as you go through the story. I love to read and I'm grateful that I know how to.
15. Movies are also a wonderful thing in life! Most of our entertainment comes from the big screen, and these too will take you away on a crazy adventure. I definitely have no creative mind to be in the movie industry and so I'm thankful for those who are!
16. I'm thankful for my car and if it were a person, I'd love it forever. Oh wait, I still do. Seriously, my car is such a trooper and is my means of transportation in anything I do. It may be a gas eater, but it's tough enough that I'm not scared of anything.
17. I just drank some water and have to throw it in here. How refreshing is it when you're dehydrated and you drink a nice cool glass of water? Actually, how refreshing is it to drink water whenever? I may love sodas, but nothing comes even close to the wonderful H2O
18. I may be faster at typing than writing, but nothing compares to writing. It has a power that typing can't fulfill. To have a clean sheet of paper and a pencil or pen in hand, you have the power to create something that could go anywhere. You write as the thoughts flow. Through drawing in there, too. I'm grateful for paper and writing tools.
19. I'm thankful for toys. Any kind. They're all so fun and can keep you occupied for a time. I'm especially thankful for my camera and the ability to take pictures. And edit them. It's a great hobby of mine and I love doing it. It lets me view the world at different angles and show them to others.
20. The number one thing I love to photograph is nature. I'm grateful to live in Utah where there is a variety of different scenes I can capture. No matter the season, Utah is always so beautiful and I'm grateful I can surround myself with it everyday.
21. I'm thankful for the stars; for astronomy and the cosmos. It's always going to be a mystery and wonder to us humans, and it's a whole other dimension out there. I love seeing the stars, the constellations, and everything else out in the sky and being in such awe. The cosmos are a wonderful way to humble myself of my part in this world.
22. Last, but definitely not least, I'm so so grateful for my life and all the events that have occurred in it. I've had some pretty tough times, and I still go through them. I've hit the bottom and I've felt the high. It's been a rocky road and it's probably only going to get worse. But I would never trade my life for anything else. It's made me become who I am today and I'm proud of how far I've come. It's because of everything I've experienced I am able to share my little wisdom with others and be able to help others avoid those troubled times.
I'm glad we have Thanksgiving. I'm glad we can all take the time to realize what we're grateful for and give thanks for being alive. Thanksgiving is great because there's a break, football, lots of food, activities, etc. But we cannot forget that this is a holiday to appreciate what we're given. And we should be this grateful for everything we have everyday.

Swagga of a College Kid~
I just love dancing. It's such a fun thing and it's so stress relieving. Oh and it's a good workout! Any type of dancing is what I love. I've learned jazz dance, some contemporary, learning ballroom/social dancing, and hip hop. Hip hop is what I want to elaborate though. It's probably my favorite out of them all. It's fun to just bust a move and be able to use the moves you learn in a freestyle way. With that being said, I'm in BYU's hip hop club now. Boy is it the best thing ever. It's an hour and a half to just dance and have fun with other people. And most of the presidency are my friends, which helps me be in the in's on everything; it's pretty great haha. We have a couple of performances coming up and then our showcase at the end of March, so that should be interesting. Anyway, so a few weeks before last semester ended, some of us got together and we made a music video!! aka we just messed around on campus :P the bloopers end is great, Michael likes to mess around like that randomly. But I feel pretty cool for being part of this now! I wish I had started last year, but I'm glad I'm in it now.
Anyway, check this out (Link is right below)! This is the final product of our music video. It's pretty random, but we had a lot of fun doing this and we all love to dance. We've got the swagga of a college kid. It's in our blood.

PARTY ROCK!!!
I just have one thing to tell you all....
Our ward talent show isn't until the end of the semester (Dec 9 to be specific), but we already have our idea on what we want to do for it...and we've started working on it already.
Kaite and I learned the shuffle dance in the "Party Rock Anthem" song by LMFAO. You know, when you watch the music video, there's the break after it says "Everyday I'm shufflin" and they do that choreographed number? Yeah, we learned how to do it. And we're working on the rest of the song.
Let's just say, this is going to be legit.
Stay tuned in December for a video of our performance. :)

Day 16: Ludwig van Beethoven
A picture of someone who inspires you
Is there really anything else needed to be said about this man? So amazing. Going completely deaf during his life and yet still coming out with amazing pieces. He's just so musically knowledgable, it makes me wish I was, too. He definitely inspires me to do better at the piano AND the violin.

Day 13: Lovin' me some K-Pop (as you all should)
Day 13: A picture of your favorite band or artist
Ok, before I go off about my favorite boy band, I'm just sayin' you guys should all love K-pop music, there's quite a bit that bands have sung into English as well! It's just catchy and fun. If you ever want names hit me up; I'm willing to help spread the Korean music around to all. For now I definitely recommend these guys, Wondergirls, Super Junior, 2PM, and....2NE1. Got it? Good.
This is TVXQ (in English) or 동방신기. This is also where I'm going to start my rant about them and how much I love them. But sadly, they're not split into two groups. The three on the left are in a group now called JYJ and the two on the right are still called TVXQ. Either way, love them. Love K-Pop because seriously, I feel like it's becoming a new thing all over the world, and I love it!
Anyway, so TVXQ. Oh man, these guys are amazing! At everything they do too! And I've literally been in love with them since I first saw them. Waaay back in 2004 when they first debuted. Been a HUGE fan of them since then, and I still am even when they're split. Such a sad loss to the music world, for they were an amazing group. But like I said, I support them still, and I do love JYJ and TVXQ the same! They're popularity is internationally huge as well. Their fan club (Cassiopeia) was in the Guiness Book of World Records for being the largest organized club...or something along those lines. Legit! And they deserve that credit for the support they give. I'd be part of it officially but it costs money....something I don't have. Anyway, so these guys are awesome. You all should look them up on youtube sometime and hear them sing. Especially singing a capella. Oh man oh man, they are so good at harmonizing! They're so good looking too, which is obviously a major plus.
They're also liked by the Asian entertainment business in general, too. Whenever they appear in a drama or TV show or anything, viewing rates go super high that week! And just a bunch of other stuff factor into their charisma. And such great personalities and mannerisms too! It's wonderful. And they're so caring for other singers and all - they aren't the type to just make sure they're number one (although they always end up being so when a new song comes out).
I really could listen to these guys' songs all day - whether it be JYJ or TVXQ. I have almost all their songs from the time they debuted, and most of them memorized. Obsessed much? I will proudly admit it. I have never, and probably won't ever, gotten sick of listening to them or seeing them on the internet or the tele. And also, if there's one man that I've been in love with since the moment I laid eyes on him it would be the leader of the group, U-know Yunho. Well, his real name is Yunho Jung (정윤호) but whatever. You get my point....oh man...look at those pictures right below....call me crazy, I don't care; I'm going to marry this man.
That's all!

Day 12: Music=love
Day 12: A picture of something you love
Ok so I suck at this 30 day picture challenge. Whatever. No one reads these anyway, it's for fun ("fun fun!"). Also, it's been a crazy time because my sister just got married but I guess I'll post about that later....
So, something I love huh? Pretty sure this was a no-brainer and everyone who knows me knows this already (or at least, they should). MUSIC. The picture is currently a song I'm working on. Apparently if you can play it well enough you can play it in a minute. Yeah, definitely not near that at the moment. It's coming along though; and I love Chopin. Legit guy who doesn't get enough credit as he should...in my opinion. Going off track....so I love music. More than anything. Like honestly, I get deprived if I don't have some sort of music in my life everyday and I go crazy. I can at least tolerate any kind of music, and for the most part I love it all. Such a great thing in life.
As the Jonas Brothers put it, "Music's in my soul I can feel Everyday every night It's the one thing on my mind Music's got control And I'll never let it go no~ I just wanna play my music!" Go Jonas Brothers!! That's the life of me!! <3

Day 7: Music Saves My Soul
Day 7: A picture of your most treasured item
Ok so technically this item isn't mine because my parents obviously bought the piano, but it's an item that I use the most. I love our grand piano at our house, and I don't think I miss anything more than it at our house as I'm away at college. I literally could play it for hours and hours each day, I never get tired playing the piano. The reason why I treasure this piano so much is because it has been my way of letting out my emotions; whether I be happy, sad, angry, stressed, or anything, it lets me play away and get rid of whatever I want to forget. Music really does save my soul, and the main source of that aspect is this piano. I like to call it my piano since I play it all the time. I can't wait to move back home and play it all the time. Sure, without this piano I could live and all, but I've played the piano all my life and to think of a life without my own piano to play....I would literally be so depressed. And so, this is why my piano is the most treasured item I have; because it's a part of me. Always has and always will be. <3
Have a beautiful Sunday. 5 days until home....
