Um...so...Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Amazing. Loved it. I cried, yeah, so what? I started crying when it showed Fred, Lupin, and Tonks dead. So sad! And then I was teary-eyed the rest of the movie and the I felt like something died inside of me when it was all over. Because....it is. This has been 10 years of my life! My childhood, more than half my life up to this point(almost half though)! You honestly can't blame me for being sad, when I've grown up with this magical story since I was in first grade and when it first came out.
I had the privilege to see the movie at 7 PM, so 5 hours before midnight premiere. Hurray for connections! Anyway, it was so awesome to do so, and I sorta dressed up. Enough so that I was comfortable, and people could tell I was dressed up for Harry Potter anyway. I was so super stoked, it was embarrassing. But that's ok, I was only concerned about Harry.
So the movie. Oh man oh man. It was great. Perfect balance of action, darkness, humor, and romance. The action scenes were really great, especially when Mrs. Weasley and Bellatrix duke it out! Another awesome part I liked was in the Room of Requirement when Malfoy and his gangs come inside the fire comes around and all! Also...Neville!! dang! Matthew Lewis did SUCH an excellent job portraying Neville. I say he's a true hero to this all because if the sword never appeared to him and he didn't kill Nagini, then Harry would be done for. I'm a fan. Go Neville! The epilogue was slightly funny since it was all the same actors, but dressed to look like they're 36. And Ron and Hermione's kiss?! the first thing that actually popped in my head (while everyone else was cheering) was, "Katy's probably going to be super jealous of Emma right here" ha. It was awesome to see all the characters back at Hogwarts during the epic battle, even Percy was there! The only one not there though was Oliver Wood! What the heck, why didn't he come?! He's supposed to....
I kinda wish they had mentioned that Harry's invisibility cloak was the one from the Deathly Hallows...that's kinda important seeing as it's the title of the book, eh? So there's that, for all you non-readers. Also, I think it would've been way cool if they had explained how Voldemort got all the items he used as horcruxes, especially since he used the founders of Hogwarts' items. But I guess the movie would've been too long. So you non-readers will have to figure that out on your own...like by reading the book. Also, I really wish the epilogue showed more main characters, like Neville and Luna, or George and what happened to him. And what occupations the all acquired would've been awesome. A few more minor details missing here and there that only avid fans would've appreciated (me included) because they know Harry Potter too well, but other than that this movie was excellent! I need to go see it again sometime soon!! If this movie doesn't win box office of the year(or whatever the prize is called), I'm going to be angry and it'll be a shocker.
And so, the worldwide phenomenon has come to a close. I'm hoping JK Rowling will think of another book just as good as Harry's, if not better. It's bittersweet, but it was great!!
Harry Potter forever!!!! <3 <3 <3

Day 30: Nikkole and Drew!!!!
Day 30: A picture of someone you miss
There were two people I had to talk about , but both were a no-brainer for me.
First, my hiking buddy, exercising buddy, talk-to-about-anything buddy, going to get our hair done together buddy, and more. I miss my friend Nikkole so much, I don't think she realizes how much I miss her. She and I literally did so many things together that I feel like I don't know who to turn to when I want to go do something spontaneous now. She's currently in California being a nanny for who knows how long, and I'm really glad she's loving it. But I truly do miss her. She and I have been friends since 4th grade, it's a pretty long time!!! I hope she comes back to Utah sometime soon, that would make me very happy! If not, that's ok, I just want her to know that I miss her!! She's a wonderful friend to have and she's been there for lots of things for me! I miss you Nikkole!!
Next, my wonderful friend Drew! Elder Bradley is currently serving a LDS mission in Tuscon, AZ ASL speaking. He's going to be out for a year in November! Time sure flies by so fast! But this kid is one of my best friends ever! He was always there to go to the temple with or to get ice cream, or to just kick back and do nothing! I know he's doing a great job out there, but that doesn't mean I can't miss him ha. He's a great guy and I'm so glad to have him as a friend! I know he won't read this, but y'all will!
I'm done with this 30 day picture challenge! Took me a lot longer than 30 days, but hey! It's done! Woo!!!

Happy one year anniversary!
So I know I just blogged but whatever. Guess what everyone! I've had my blog for a year and 5 days now! Whaaat! That's right. Love having a blog. I also have a Tumblr blog now too.....sad of me I know. But it's chill.
Anyway, with that, I'm just proud of myself for having something like this going on for a year already...crazy how fast time flies by, right?
Have a good night everyone. Carpe noctem. I sure did! Great night with some improv...

Day 29: Some Fresh AIr
Day 29: A picture of something that can always make you smile
You know what sucks is that this one took me forever to think about, hence the delay since the last one. I'm so close to finishing, too, that I wanted it to be good! Isn't it sad that I couldn't think of something that always makes me smile? There's loads of things that make me smile, but I honestly couldn't think of something that made me happy all the time; not even music (because included in that is when I get super frustrated with the piano and/or violin and feel like smashing something....anger problems....boo...). Then I thought outside the box...real hard...and I realized fresh air makes me smile. Just going somewhere outside and taking that first inhale can always put a smile on my face. Especially now with pollution and all, it's hard to find legit fresh air. In association with fresh air, taking walks are always super nice! 99.9% of the time I come back with a smile on my face and happy (the 0.1% is if I got tired ha). Going alone is always nice, but going with at least another person is nice too! I love taking walks with just one person and talking with them and getting to know them better and all. It's relieving and refreshing.<3
So if any of you want to have a chit-chat or something, let's take a walk sometime.
One last day of the picture challenge! Good thing I already know what I'm going to do about it.

Day 28: Spiders....
Day 28: A picture of something you're afraid of :/
![]() |
| Even looking at pictures of spiders got my heart racing with nervousness... |
So I know most people are scared of spiders but I feel like I'm one of the more severe cases of arachnophobia. It's bad. And it sucks. Seriously, no matter how small or harmless a spider will be, when I see it, I freeze up and I really can't do anything except for yell to my parents to come get it; or yell to anyone that can hear me. And then I'm scarred for a while and can't go to that same place for a while because I'm still scared of seeing the spider there. The only place that's an exception to that is my room because I just suck it up and go in. But really, I hate being on grass for fear of a spider to crawl by. I can't do anything run-down or dusty or anything for fear of a spider landing on my head. I don't do lots of things for fear of spiders. You've seen Ron in Harry Potter and how he reacts to spiders right (which apparently, is really how Rupert Grint reacts to them too ha)? Yeah, that's pretty much me. It's really bad for me. My mom always asks me, "What are you going to do when you have kids and they ask you to catch a spider?" And that's when I tell her, "I'm going to make sure they don't have to go through the same thing as me and make sure they're not afraid of spiders." Haha. I'm going to be such a great mom someday ;)
I say, spiders get lucky when I'm all alone, too. Because I can't come near them, I avoid them and run away, therefore not catching them and letting them live. Now that's bad....
