So today was Garrett Best's birthday! I met him through Kameron and Ryan, and he's super awesome!!! We celebrated his birthday yesterday, however, and it was great. Pin the tail on the donkey, balloon games, limbo, food, music, dancing, great stuff! I got to back a Heath bar cake, which half stayed with my roommates and me (which we're always ok with keeping some for us ha). And I made a few new friends which was good!! I definitely enjoyed it. And hopefully Garrett keeps his promise and 1)sings sometime so I can hear him sing haha and 2)goes snowboarding with me so I can learn how to be pro like him!!
I also aced my constellations quiz today, which is super good because I know can really orient myself and know what constellations are where! It'll definitely come in handy for my major...physics-astronomy haha!
And Harry Potter 7 is now less than 24 hours away for my roommates and me!!! Soooooo excited!! We had a Harry Potter party with our hall and another hall (Maeser); it was great ha! MJ and I have a long day ahead of us tomorrow....hopefully we aren't worn out before the movie even lets us in the theater!! :)
Also, Drew, Harrison, and Ryan reported to the MTC today. It's so crazy to think that Ryan and Drew are right up the street from me, which is a whole lot closer than what they've ever lived by me. Harrison is at the Argentina MTC already, so he's already gone!! too bad he couldn't be at this MTC for a while. But again, I know they're going to do awesome and I still wish them the best of luck!! :D
Well, I can't really think of anything else, and I still have a bunch of things to do before tomorrow.......darn this Calculus :/ Where did my 0:00 hour go?! It feels like the time went from 23:00 to 1:00!! man..... :( This is the life of me!!
A picture for all: Dumbledore's Army!!! Which movie is this picture from?? :)

Oh man oh man!!!! I haven't had a chance to blog forever!! This is bad, because I've been having a great couple weeks since the last time I blogged, which was forever ago!! My poor blog....I'm sorry for have forgotten to put you in my time schedule...and I like to speak to inanimate objects like you....anyway...
So, first off, Halloween was great! I went to my sister's place on Friday with some friends, and we had fun there. Then we went to a Halloween party, which was for all of Heritage Halls. That was pretty cool, there was an illusionist and he did great! Saturday rolled around and I just hung around and then that night, we had a BYU 4th Stake Halloween dance. Super fun! It was fun seeing everyone in their costumes and all. It was a fun weekend for me! Just a few pictures from this weekend.

Let's see...we then had Missionary Week, which I blogged about in and of itself, so that's settled...
Although if I remember all this correctly, that weekend we went to Jump On It. It's a huge warehouse-like place that has a bunch of trampolines all lined up by each other. Talk about intense/epic trampoline jumping and tricks! It was fun, but my knee hurts... hmm....
And then this past week has been all about study study study! Tests and all right before Thanksgiving Break...I guess it's better than having homework over the break and not wanting to do it....
Friday was a good day! Full of adventures. So after classes got done, Katie, Melanie, MJ, Jasmin, and I went to the mall to just window shop and have fun like that! And we ate dinner at the food court there....I hadn't had Arby's in so long it was great stuff.... and we also figured out the rest of our night because we were planning on going to the game.....what game you ask??BYU men's basketball season officially opened this Friday!! We played against Fresno state and dominated!! It was so much fun, I'm a total basketball fan! And #32 Jimmer Ferdette!! Sooooo amazing at basketball!!! Legit. But that was super fun and my roommates and I left early to beat the crowd.

And then, Austin Price came down and stayed with Kameron and Ryan (aka George ha) for Friday night. So Julia and I went down there to hang out with him because we hadn't seen him in ages!! It was fun, like old times. And we had some cake that Shar made, in preparation for Garrett's birthday haha. It was fun!!

Julia and me! Austy! ha-->Woo! Long Friday...Well....Saturday rolls around and it was full of things too!! I had to wake up early to volunteer at the BYU powwow merit badge thing...I passed kids off for the weather merit badge. Service hours for American Heritage class. But some of the boys are just so cute because they're so young and just want to do their best, it was so cute!!! But I had fun with that, last time I had to go! But that finished at 1 and then I left for Ogden (home sweet home!). I didn't even have time to rest when I got there because I left to go see "Hello Dolly!" at my high school with my friend Drew! It was pretty good, for the conditions they were in, and so I was proud of them! It felt weird going to see the plays that I will never be in again. Anywho, so afterwards, Drew, Lauren, and I went to Denny's to eat. I came home after that, studied some astronomy and the definitely crashed....
Sunday was crazy too!! I had three farewells, crazy right? My best friend Drew had one (he's going to Tuscon, AZ speaking ASL), Harrison had one (going to Montevideo, Uruguay), and Ryan had one (he's going to Seoul, Korea!). I only stayed afterwards at Drew's house. It was the last time I'd see him it was weird!!! I know all three of them are going to do an awesome job though. They're all definitely ready, and they are so willing to serve the Lord. I'm so glad I have these kind of guy friends who look so forward to their missions and stay worthy to be called to serve for two years. I'm definitely going to miss them like crazy, but it will be worth it for sure!! And they all did awesome with their farewells. It was a good Sunday for me! And then I headed back to Provo, had ward prayer, hung with my FHE brothers for a while, and then came back to the dorm....

WHEW!! That was a crazy blog. Super long. If anyone out there reads this blog, and then reads this whole blog.....kudos to you. This is super long I don't know if it's worth reading even haha. I like to blog though. It's like a diary, which is good, because then when I write in my actual diary and happen to forget something, it's here on my blog!! I love it!! :) Well, for this blog...that's the life of me...
So today concluded the end of our missionary week at BYU. Long story short, for the purpose of this post, I stayed off facebook, blogger, email, music, etc for this whole week. You read correctly...one full week! And boy, it's been a pretty big eye-opener for me!
First off, I never realized how much time I spend on Facebook everyday of my life. I mean, I log in and then if nothing is going on on it, I just leave it open and do other stuff, no biggie. I may sometimes just browse around and stuff, but nothing too intense. Well, apparently it kills a lot more time than I realized. Without Facebook this week, I found out all the more time I had to do things like homework and studying after classes were over everyday! And so that's what I did, and I have been so much more productive and have had more time at night to feel at ease. Hopefully I won't waste as much time on Facebook anymore....
But I did realize just how much Facebook is a tool to know what's going on with people's lives. I feel like, I've missed out on things in my friends' lives that I don't see everyday. Crazy how technology works, eh?
So perfect for missionary week, I got two letters this week from Elder Harrison Allen and Elder Sean Christensen!! It's awesome, I love hearing back from missionaries, even if it does take forever; but....better late than never! :)
Hmm.....nothing else has really happened this week. It's been good though; I have felt good! :D
So currently I'm talking to my friend Erick and just talking about life things. I haven't done this for a while and it makes me feel good to know someone else agrees with me on things!
Well, for now, I guess that's the life of me...
*NOTE: this was supposed to be posted on 11/6 but never did!! Hmm....
